Timber with a sense of place.
Decks, pergolas and timber features tailored to your space. From a structure connecting your home and garden to seating designed for a particular balcony.
Timber decking
A deck should connect with your home and the way you live outdoors. We consider its shape, height, access and connection to the garden or pool. We give the same attention to the parts that will be hidden once the job is complete.
- New decks, extensions and complete replacements
- Choosing timber or WPC to suit appearance, use and maintenance preferences
- Ground preparation, supporting structure, drainage and junction details
Pergolas and shelters
A seating area, a covered entrance or a carport. We tailor the structure to the space, the character of the house and its intended use. Roof covering is chosen according to the light, shelter and site conditions required.
- Pergolas, gazebos and carports
- Dimensions, anchoring and connections to nearby structures
- Agreement on roof covering and related work before construction
Garden buildings and practical spaces
A practical space need not be just somewhere to store things. We plan its layout around what it needs to hold and how it will be used, from a log store to a garden building or an outdoor kitchen structure.
- Garden buildings, log stores and storage spaces
- Timber structures and practical areas for outdoor kitchens
- Raised beds and other garden features
Cladding, fences and timber ceilings
On larger surfaces, rhythm, continuity and careful finishing matter. We prepare timber cladding, fences and ceilings with the overall design and specific project requirements in mind.
- Exposed timber ceiling lining and timber cladding
- Timber fences and divisions between areas
- Coordinating details with the customer’s or architect’s design
Bespoke seating
Off-the-shelf furniture does not fit every space. We tailor timber seating and tables to your balcony, deck or garden corner while leaving room to move comfortably.
- Corner seating, benches and tables
- Dimensions suited to the location and intended use
- Agreement on construction and finish
Restoration and timber care
A complete rebuild is not always necessary. We first assess the structure and surfaces and discuss what can be retained, repaired or replaced.
- Repairs to decks, pergolas and other timber features
- Cleaning and renewing an appropriate protective finish
- Replacing damaged parts and advising on future care
Materials chosen for the way you use them
A poolside deck needs different care from a covered seating area. We explain the differences in appearance, ageing and maintenance, and help you choose a solution that suits you.

Questions you may have
Can part of the existing structure be retained?
That depends on its condition. We first need to assess the supporting elements, base and connections, then recommend repairs or partial or complete replacement.
Can you work from an architect’s design?
Yes. We can work from an existing design and agree on the construction and details together. We establish the scope of our work in advance.
What do you need for an initial quotation?
A description of the project, its location, approximate dimensions and a few photographs. Your ideas about materials and timing are helpful too. We confirm the final scope and price according to the actual conditions.
Discuss your timber project
Send us your ideas, approximate dimensions and project location. If you already have a design, we can work from it.
